Lissette M Gonzalez
My parents immigrated to the United States from Cuba at a young age. Their parents made the move in hopes of following the American dream and to live free of communism. I grew up in Miami, Florida in the early 1980s in a biligual household. My parents worked hard and sacrificed a lot so that I can have a better life. I enjoyed the everyday music, entertainment, people, cuisines, and the countless cultures that I was able to encounter and learn to be more in tuned with other’s needs. My hobbies include astrology, rock collecting, fishing, and boating.
During my high school years, I met the love of my life, my husband. Shortly after high school, my husband enlisted in the United States Armed Forces. Thanks to his service, my family and I have had the opportunity of traveling all over the world. Moving from place to place can be stressful and even a daunting task to deal with. Some of my moves have included many to include the following: South Korea, Colorado Springs, CO, Germany, Columbus, GA, Washington, D.C., and Virginia. This excludes multiple moves that I made with my children while my husband was deployed. It was very challenging at times. Although today, I view those experiences as a strength that can assist Military and Government Families in achieving a smoother transition for my clients. Additionally, I decided to become a REALTOR® to help others and a love for different home-styles and architecture.
